Gambas a la Plancha (Pan Fried Shrimp)

500 gm. fresh medium-sized shrimps, in shell
2 tbs. coarse salt
1/4 c. olive oil
2 tbs. chopped parsley
1 clove garlic, minced
5 tbs. olive oil or cooking oil


Cooking Instructions:


  1. Toss shrimps and coarse salt together. 
  2. Heat a heavy skillet until very hot. 
  3. Drop shrimps and stir to keep from sticking. 
  4. Cook 1 minute, then add 4 tbs. olive oil. Cook 3 minutes more. 
  5. Transfer to a platter. Mix parsley, garlic and 1 tbsp. olive oil. Serve with shrimps.
